Lake Como is lovely in spring or summer, perhaps a little more peaceful in autumn, but still warm and delectably pretty.

Villa Beatrice really shines in spring, summer and autumn when you can throw open shutters to sunshine on the lake, gather fresh vegetables from the garden or just laze on the terrace and do nothing much at all. That’s why we love having guests from March until October, but prefer to keep the secret of Lake Como’s surprisingly cold winters to ourselves.
